New waste collection contractor announced for Sunshine Coast Council The Sunshine Coast Regional Council has announced that Remondis Australia will continue to be the contractor responsible for rubbish removal in the Sunshine Coast Regional Council area.

Some golf clubs returned home

Between close of play at about 4p.m. on Saturday June 7th and when players returned at about 11.m. on Sunday June 8th Maleny Golf Club had eleven sets of gold clubs stolen from their area behind Pattemore House on the Maleny Precinct.

The long running action taken in regard to alleged sexual harassment by Slipper against Ashby has previously been heard in the Full Court of the Federal Court when a decision to allow Mr. Ashby to continue his action was held after originally being dismissed.

The Office of Fair Trading has advised that homeowners and electricians should check their solar power system after Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie issued a recall order on certain Avenco branded DC solar power isolators that were found to have an internal fault that can lead to overheating and fire.
