Questions to

Cr.  Jenny McKay
Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

(sent 07.01.2013)

Could you please provide some answers to a question in relation to
the official name of Bald Knob - Skipper-Musk Teahouse Lookout.

The Bald Knob Lookout Tourism sign has been revamped but without the official Place Name.

The recently installed Tourism sign on this Geographical Feature does not reflect the official Place Name that the Queensland Government gave to it on 17th July 2009 as the SKIPPER MUSK TEAHOUSE LOOKOUT.

Despite several representations and requests for the past three and a half years, to the former Caloundra City Council, the Sunshine Coast Regional Council and Queensland Government, nothing has been done to allocate funds to clean up this Geographical Feature or put the official Place Name signage on the site.

The question that needs to be asked is, when or if the Sunshine Coast Regional Council will act to get correct signage in place and clean up the Bald Knob area which should be known as the SKIPPER MUSK TEAHOUSE LOOKOUT?
