Miketee house wins
12th straight title

On Valentines Day, 14 February, Beerwah High School hosted its 12th swimming carnival at the Beerwah Community Pool.  As expected Miketee were odds on favourite to take out its 12th title. Never before has there been so much enthusiasm shown by students and teachers.

Although it was an early start for a few, the spirits were high and all were out to get the title from Miketee. The day progressed and in true fashion there was tension in the Miketee camp as Tundlabudla took some of the lime light by leading most of the day.

It was down to the last few events until a surge of participation from Miketee snatched the points and regained the lead to win its 12th Carnival.  Despite the battle for 1st and 2nd there was much rivalry between Tundlabudla and Tibberoowuccum as the Tibro Tigers inched their way closer to second place but unfortunately the tigers fell only a pant away from second place leaving NGunGun in fourth place.

Due to the warmer weather more participation was witnessed as students and teachers took to the pool to cool off. This paid off well for many, as records were broken.   The new age champions were:
