Well done to all TS Centaur Cadets and congratulations for all your achievements in Cadets during 2004. Over the holidays Cadets and staff will be contesting the Corsair National Sailing Titles at Lake Macquarie in New South Wales and holding a sailing/recruit camp on January 22 and 23 at Baroon Pocket Dam.
PO Monty Sykes will be travelling to HMAS Creswell, New South Wales, where he will undertake the Midshipman Course. The Cadets restart parading on Wednesday February 2 at the HQs, and on February 12 and 13 they will be competing in the Maroochy Sailing Club, “Head of the River” at Chambers Island.
The Unit is nearing completion thanks to Ed Lawley, Bo Williams and their teams. It looks tremendous and the Cadets look forward to many years of fun and learning in the new TS Centaur Headquarters.
The Cadets, staff and parents of TS Centaur would like to thank the community of Maleny for the support received over the year. TS Centaur wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
