Add some festival life
to your weekend

by Cameron Outridge

Don’t miss the Festival of Colour Dance, featuring the Caloundra City Concert Band on Saturday at 7.30pm at Maleny Show Pavilion.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be full of delights as the Maleny Lions Festival of Colour held at the Maleny Showgrounds, promises fun packed entertainment and excitement for the whole family.

As well as a fantastic entertainment program the Festival of Colour has plenty to offer including exciting exhibits, special guests and musicians. Gardening enthusiasts will also have the chance to tour and experience the spectacular gardens on display.

The Festival will thrill and amuse people of all ages, from the young to the young at heart. To celebrate the opening of the Festival Sunshine Coast radio station 92.7 Mix FM will be broadcasting live from the Showgrounds at 8am this Friday.

Also this year the Festival will carry on in to the night as the Festival of Colour Dance, featuring the Caloundra City Concert Band, kicks off on Saturday at 7.30pm. Held at the Maleny Show Pavilion at the Showgrounds the dance promises to be an evening full of fun.

Tickets can be purchased at Amazink and Lush Plants in Caloundra.
