Hidden Treasure to feature
on TV this Sunday

by Cameron Outridge

Channel Seven's popular Sunday afternoon show The Great South East this week features, Beerwah's new award winning restaurant and luxury B&B The Hideaway.

Hosts Irene and Tony Sacre said the coverage was an unexpected bonus.

"We were totally surprised when the show phoned, completely out of the blue, to ask if they could come along and do a feature on us," said Tony.

"We all had a great time with presenter Bridgett Adams, her cameraman and director. It was fun to be involved in the shoot and to see how these things are done."

"The customers and staff involved along with us are waiting with baited breath to see how much of the four hours shot will actually end up on the show and who will get their 15 minutes of fame."

Also on hand on the day was Maleny musician John Mays who features at The Hideaway on Saturday nights.

Fundraiser for Glasshouse Country Care.  This Friday The Hideaway celebrates St Patrick's Day by hosting the Glasshouse Players' production of Radio Blarney.

The Hideaway is on the Glasshouse Tourist Drive, half way between Beerwah and Glass House. Phone 5494 6270.
