The night starts with our compere, Paul telling some terrible jokes and doing some magic tricks that didn't quite turn out maagic.

He couldn't remember the difference between bananas and oranges.   He did do a great job though.

Part of the crowd getting into the swing of the night.  There was a friendly Maleny Bowls Family of about 70 enjoying the evnt.

In a change from the usual catering was done by "The Full Monte" coffee lounge and catering service.

The meal was excellent, not that the usual Friday night Bar-B-Q is not excellent.

Another part of the crowd got into the celebrations with "a bang".

It was cheers and toasts all round.

A time for joyous tidings.

Entertainment was provided at great cost to the club and the only Australian concert of the Les Bennett "Band of Renound."

It is amazing how such a little club like the Maleny Bowls Club can entice such big entertainment names to perform at their funcctions.
