The
driver of a tanker carrying drinking water had a lucky escape when his
trailer became detached from the prime mover as he was on the way to
deliver the load.

| The driver from Maleny Dairies wasn’t injured in the incident and only minor damage was sustained to the vehicle. The incident happened on Bunya Street in front of the Maleny Fire Station mid-morning on Wednesday October 11th.
Owner of the truck, Keith Hopper from Maleny Dairies, who wasn’t the driver at the time of the incident said, “It is lucky that it didn’t happen a bit further down Bunya Street going down the hill.”
He
continued to say that there would have a much worse incident at the
intersection of Bunya Street and Landsborough Road just a few hundred
yards further on.
The trailer, which is also used to carry milk for Maleny Dairies was righted and would be back in service later in the day justifying the truck’s name, “UnRollaBull”.
