6 p.m. on Thursday August 4th Maleny ambulance officer, Peter Griffey
was called to Stanley River Road, Maleny where a person had been chain
sawing trees on his property and it appears a tree or part of a tree
fell causing injuries to that person.

search for a mother and her two young sons was initiated on the walking
tracks from Baroon Pocket Dam to Kondalilla Falls, cold, dark and
difficult terrain on Sunday July 24th at about 10p.m.

Maleny Show Society will celebrate the 75th Show in 2012 on June 1st
and 2nd, and to celebrate, are launching a new Charity Event. This
competition is open to anyone aged over 15, male or female, married or
single, and the prize will be $5000.00 worth of travel vouchers and
spending money.
