ALP names candidate for Glasshouse |

Long
time local 19-year-old Ryan Moore, a university student, has been named
by the State ALP Executive as their next candidate to contest the seat
of Glasshouse.
Mr. Moore will take on the LNP’s Andrew Powell in a contest that the ALP belives is a “real winnable” seat.
Mr. Moore has lived in Maleny all of his life and has been very interested in local politics since leaving school.
The seat was won in 2009 by the LNP Candidate, Andrew Powell from the ALP member, Carolyn Male by a two party result of 5.8%. This was the same amount as the swing against the ALP at that election.
