Conondale Easter Sunday
Rodeo CANCELLED!!!!
It was to be held at I. & T. Smith's Rodeo Arena, Conondale on Easter Sunday.
Conondale Picnic Race Club President, Ian Fleiter said, "The Committee have had much discussion about this cancellation but the recent weather has left the arena in such a boggy condition that it would be unsafe to continue with the rodeo. It was a dcecision that we did not want to make but we have to look to the safety of those competing."
This is only the second time that the rodeo has been cancelled. The last time was because of the equine influenza outbreak in 2007.
