Maleny Hospital staff subjected to threats |

Police
were called to an incident atthe Maleny Hospital emergency department
at about 8.15am on Saturday 22nd after nurses were subjected to threats
and abuse from an aggressive male patient.
The patient had run out of his pain medication and demanded more.
When the nurses refused, he became aggressive and abusive.
Police questioned the man, but no charges were laid. No further information is available at the time of writing this story.
