Man injured in industrial accident |

Mooloolaba man has been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane hospital from the Maleny
Showgrounds on Monday January 23rd after treament at the Maleny Hospital for a serious injury
to his arm.
The man’s arm became caught in a conveyor belt at the Conondale sand and gravel plant.
The young man suffered serious injuries to his right arm and was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment where he is in a stable condition.
Police and Industrial Safety inspectors are completing inquiries into the cause of this accident.
Police have not released neither the name of the person involved in this instance nor how the accident occurred.
