Traffic injury on Maleny Landsborough Range |

At about 1p.m. on Friday February
27th an accident occurred at the intersection of Landsborough-Maleny
Road and Old Maleny Road, between Maleny and Landsborough causing
serious injuries to a yound male person.
The Energex Community Rescue Helicopter transferred the patient from the scene to the Nambour Hospital where he was admitted with serious injuries. It was later revealed thet he was in a stable condition.
Traffic between Maleny and Landsborough was diverted around the accident site via Old Maleny Road. When travelling towards Maleny drivers are regularly seen to speed-up on this section of road in order to maintain speed up the Landsborough Range.
