Unitywater announces profit |

Unitywater,
Moreton Bay Council and the Sunshine Coast Regional Council shared
$68.6 million dollars profit after the first year of trading.
Sunshine Coast Council received $18.8 million dollars. Total revenue
for the year was $474 million.
This was despite an exceptional season with rainfall and other extreme weather conditions.
CEO Jon Black said, “Unitywater spent about $160 million on projects to improve water supply and infastructure. Unitywater had worked hard to ensure a high water and sewage treatment standards. Customers pay a lot of money and expect this.”
There is still aboput $450 million worth of improvments to be completed.
