Eight students from Narelle Thamm Sewing School entered the self-made
category in Kids in Cotton at the Brisbane Ekka on Sunday August 14.
The students were up against some amazing competition and a total of 18
entrants from ages nine to 12 years.
The judges had a hard time to make decisions awarding places to the budding sewers. Finally Emma Baumann and Emma Wood were each given an encouragement award and the first prize winner went to Danielle Moxon. Maleny's other five students - Tamara and Jack Allwood, Jacqui and Scott Humphreys and Teegan Somer - did Maleny proud to be there.
