The Range News is happy to announce the appointment of a new
advertising consultant ? Philip Roach. Philip brings to The Range News
more than 20 years of sales experience in publishing and newspaper
advertising.
?I was the Special Projects Manager for Sunshine Coast Newspapers and then went on to become the Branch Manager and Special Projects Manager for the Nambour office,? said Phil. Phil said he was looking forward to his new role at The Range News, helping local businesses reach their potential through cost effective advertising.
?I will be very interested in hearing from local businesses with their input to how they would like to be marketed and what they believe is special about their individual businesses,? Phil said.
Philip will also be managing the marketing of the Hinterland Tourism Guide to come out later this year. Philip takes over from Kate Johns who is sadly leaving The Range News to concentrate her efforts on her first love, Salt Magazine.
?We are terribly sorry to see Kate leaving,?? said editor Cameron Outridge. ?She has been a ray of sunshine and an inspiration to The Range News and its clients. ?Still I think Phil will be able to build on the groundwork and rapport Kate has built up over the past 18 months. His experience and training in the industry will be most beneficial in helping our clients to grow their profits.?
