Peachester State School's year four teacher Craig Gason was recently nominated for a National Excellence in Teaching Award.
The prestigious award's purpose is to honour and recognise excellent teachers and highlight the work, not only of
| | Craig Garson. | individual teachers throughout Australia and New Zealand, but also the team contribution from all teachers in every school.
Peachester State School are very proud of Craig for being among the one percent of teachers that are nominated annually and thank him for his tireless contributions to the school. His efforts in the classroom, as IT specialist and after hours have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. Craig is now eligible for consideration for an ASG Community Merit Award or National Excellence in Teaching Award and grant for Peachester State School.
Thanks again to Craig, to the community members who nominated him and to the NEITA co-ordinators for giving the school the opportunity to give teachers some formal recognition for all their hard work.
