The popular song Love and Marriage changes to music and marriage go
together like a horse and carriage for Paridoro Quartet members.
Melbourne-based musos Paul Kopetz, his wife Rianne Wilschut and Dorit
Herskovits and her husband Robert Harris - hence Pa-ri-doro Quartet -
prove that music and marriage do mix, that the classics do click for
couples.
Paul and Rianne, clarinettists-in-consort with Robert and Dorit, a viola and double bass duo, first collaborated as orchestra members for Melbourne production Fiddler on the Roof starring Topol.
Since forming, Paridoro has performed annually throughout Victoria including concert series in art galleries, wineries and concert halls. In 2004 they toured New South Wales and this year travel to Perth and south-western Western Australia in addition to their Queensland tour.
Their Queensland tour starts with Maleny Arts Council?s event in Montville Village Hall on Sunday July 3 at 3pm.
