Experience the unique blend of physical comedy, magic, kooky music and vaudeville when Queensland Arts Council's Ontour onstage and NARPACA present The Shneedles in April. In association with Spirit Entertainment, the smash hit show Luggage will dazzle audiences of all ages.
The Shneedles are Wolfe Bowart and Bill Robison, an extraordinary duo who combine the raw skills of the acrobat, the absurdity of Monty Python and the comic perfection of Buster Keaton. Formed in Tucson, Arizona, The Shneedles bring to the stage years of theatre, circus and vaudeville skills and are masters of the art of physical comedy. QAC Ontour onstage manager Jane Atkins said The Shneedles have redefined clowning by bringing a unique combination of grace and humour to the stage as they deal with the deep subjects of life - unrequited love, death and mousetraps in your pants.
Wolfe Bowart is the artistic director and also a writer, actor, teacher, artist-in-residence and visual artist and graphic designer. He has written award-winning plays. Bill Robison has been an actor, physical comedian and teacher for over 20 years. He has toured extensively to festivals around the USA and Canada where he has been the opening act for Bill Cosby, Frank Sinatra and Dolly Parton The performance will be at the Maleny Community Centre, April Tuesday 12.
The Shneedles will perform in Maleny on Tuesday April 12.
