The Range News is pleased to announce that it is now properly represented on the information super highway, following its website rollout this week. While our new site showcases our front page story it hasn't been designed primarily as a news vehicle.
In fact www.rangenews.com.au has been designed to help our readership communicate with us and to better understand the suite of services the paper provides.
As well as briefings on our editorial policies and the protocols that should be observed when sending media to us, the site offers advice on how to write advertisements and offers some strategies for a successful advertising campaign. It also features our rate card.
Depending on the response we get, we are also considering running webbased news polls on issues of importance to the Hinterland community and providing a system which will support on-line classified and ad bookings. Give us some feedback!
Finally, as we now have our own domain, please observe the paper's new URL and the changes to the staff email addresses which will be rolled out from tomorrow.
News editor Simon Roper checks out the new website where you can find out all about The Range News. |
