Clubs give generously to Maleny High |

ONCE again many local community organisations and service clubs have displayed their never ending generosity towards Maleny State High School.
The following groups, Maleny Probus Club, Maleny CWA, Maleny Arts and Crafts, Maleny Toastmasters, Maleny Contract Bridge Club, Maleny Rotary, Maleny Apex, St George?s Anglican Ladies Guild, Maleny Community Centre, Freemasons, Maleny Bushranger?s Rugby Union Club, Caloundra City Council, Maleny Bowls Club, TS Centaur. All these organisations made donations to the resource centre at Maleny High in commemoration of ANZAC Day.
These beautiful books are a significant contribution to the school library. They have been inscribed as a reminder to all who read them and the generosity of donor organisations is truly appreciated by the students and staff alike. This is a great tradition that has evolved over the years and it is wonderful to see the community and the high school work so well together for the benefit of our youth.
Librarian Geoff Anthony said: ?The youth of today are our future and we need to invest in them in every way possible. These students will hopefully become active members of such community organisations in years to come?.
