Australia Zoo supports the volunteers and this is evident by the zoo having over 550 paid staff and over 100 volunteers.    They assist with numerous key zoo aspects from customer service to animal care & rehabilitation. Australia Zoo's Business Development Manager, Wayne Poole addressed the volunteers to thank them & let them know that Australia Zoo wouldn't be where we are today without the valuable contribution of it’s internal and external volunteer partners.
